You can reach the novel headquarters (Ismaningerstrasse 51) from the Airport either by taxi or by the city train (S-Bahn; the sign you see in the airport hall is a white S in green circle ).

Please take the line S8 (recommended) or S1.



Please go until "Ostbahnhof" (Munich east; the 9th stop on the line S8) and change there to the Bus line 100 (towards Odeonsplatz).


Please get out at the bus stop Friedensengel (fourth stop after Ostbahnhof). Follow the street till the crossing and cross the street; turn to the right and after aprox. 50m you will find novel. You will need aprox. 50 minutes from the airport to novel.

We recommend to use following tickets: "Tageskarte Gesamtnetz "; valid for one person and day for all zones (EUR 9.00) or "Streifenkarte" (EUR 10.00) .

• By cab
If you decide to go by taxi, they will charge aprox. EUR 50.00 and it will take aprox. half an hour.

Take the train till Munich "Hauptbahnhof" (central station) and then either a Taxi or public transportation. The taxi does not need more that 15 minutes and they charge aprox. EUR 15.00


• By undergraound


U-Bahn logo

- please take the U4 (directon "Arabella Park") or U5 (direction "Neuperlach Süd "). Get out at Max-Weber-Platz (fourth stop in both lines).

At Max-Weber-Platz take the escalator in the middle; exit Ismaninger Strasse/Klinikum Rechts der Isar. After getting out from the second escalator please turn to the right and then to the left - you will get out in the Ismaningersrasse. From there you can walk along Isamningerstrasse - after aprox. 5 minutes please cross the street; you will find novel on the left hand side.
At Max-Weber-Platz you can alternatively take the tram Nr. 18 to "Effnerplatz" and get off at the next station "Friedensengel". You are standing in "Ismaninger Straße" - please follow the street; in about 50 Meters, on the left side at Number 51 you will see novel.

We recommend to use following tickets: "Einzelfahrt" (EUR 2.20) for one zone (valid for one person) or "Streifenkarte" (EUR 10.00) .

• from the south - Salzburg - A8

From Salzburg coming to "Autobahnkreuz München-Süd" (highway crossroad) please take the way direction "München". At the end of the highway turn to the right to "Mittlerer Ring", follow this street (about 2 kilometers) until you pass the underbridge "Leuchtenberg-Unterführung", at the first traffic light turn left into "Einsteinstrasse", follow this street and turn right at the 4. traffic light in "Ismaningerstraße". Drive the street ahead, cross "Prinzregentenstrasse" (2. traffic light) and then about 50 Meters, at the left side at Number 51 you see novel.

• from the north - Nuernberg - A9

At the "Autobahnkreuz München-Ost" (highway crossroad) please take the direction to Salbzug-München. At the next highway crossroad "Autobahnkreuz München-Süd" please take the way direction "München". At the end of the highway (München Ramersdorf ) turn to the right to "Mittlerer Ring" (city circle), follow this street (about 2 km) until you pass the underbridge "Leuchtenberg-Unterführung", at the first traffic light turn left into "Einsteinstrasse", follow this street and turn right at the 4. traffic light in "Ismaningerstraße". Drive the street ahead, cross "Prinzregentenstrasse" (2. traffic light) and then about 50 Meters, at the left side at Number 51 you see novel.

• from the south - Garmisch - A95
At the end of the highway take right to Mittlerer Ring (city circle) and follow the street towards Highway Salzburg. At the slip road to Salzburg follow Mittlerer Ring towards highway Nürnberg. Aftere aprox. 2 km you will reach the underbridge "Leuchtenberg-Unterführung", at the first traffic light turn left into "Einsteinstrasse", follow this street and turn right at the 4. traffic light in "Ismaningerstraße". Drive the street ahead, cross "Prinzregentenstrasse" (2. traffic light) and then about 50 Meters, at the left side at Number 51 you see novel.

• from the west - Stuttgart - A8
entering Munich follow the Verdistrasse, Menzingerstrasse, Notburgastrasse.
At Romanplatz take left to Arnulfstrasse. The the bridge (Donnerstbergerbrücke) take right to Mittlerer Ring (city circle). Follow the street direction highway Garmisch and later towards Salzburg (do not enter the highway, stay driving on Mittlerer Ring).
At the slip road to Salzburg follow Mittlerer Ring towards Nürnberg. After aprox. 2 km you will reach the underbridge "Leuchtenberg-Unterführung", at the first traffic light turn left into "Einsteinstrasse", follow this street and turn right at the 4. traffic light in "Ismaningerstraße". Drive the street ahead, cross "Prinzregentenstrasse" (2. traffic light) and then about 50 Meters, at the left side at Number 51 you see novel.

Please take the train (BOB; Bayerische Oberlandbahn - http://www2.connex-gruppe.de/seiten/00000164/de/startseite.shtml) towards Bayrischzell from the mainstation (Hauptbahnhof) Munich.

Get out at "Schliersee Bahnhof" (takes aprox. an hour) or at "Neuhaus Bahnhof".


From Schliersee/Neuhaus Bahnhof please take a cab or bus to Spitzingsee.


Please get out at Spitzingsee Kirche and walk across the street (aprox. 2 minutes) to the ArabellaSheraton Hotel.

To take a taxi, please call + 49 (0) 8026 4607 (Taxi Huber) from the train station, Schliersee Bahnhof or Neuhaus Bahnhof. It takes aprox. 15 Minutes to the ArabellaSheraton Hotel.

From Munich (North)

Take the highway to (A 8, Salzburg Autobahn) to Salzburg. Exit at Weyarn and take the road to Miesbach. Follow the signs to Schliersee - pass Miesbach (B472), pass Hausham (B307), pass Schliersee (B 307) and pass Neuhaus.

Then follow the signs to Spitzingsee - turn right (ST 2077) to Spitzingsee, pass Spitzinsattel. Approximately after 70 Kilometers arrive in ArabellaSheraton (situated on the right hand side after entering Spitzingsee and passing the underbridge).

From Salzburg (East)

Take the Autobahn to Munich (A 8) and take the Irschenberg Exit. Follow the signs to Miesbach, Schliersee and Spitzingsee.
